At Grand Hyatt Barcelona , one of the city's newest and most prestigious luxury landmarks, we are looking for enthusiastic, service‑oriented, and customer‑focused Pool Waiters / Waitresses to join our Pool & Outdoor F&B team for the summer season (4 months) .

In this role, you will be a key part of the guest experience at our Pool area, delivering professional and attentive food and beverage service while creating a relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming summer atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

The Pool Waiter / Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests and supporting the daily operations of the Pool outlet. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Welcoming guests warmly and creating a positive first impression
· Providing friendly, attentive, and personalized service at all times
· Taking food and beverage orders accurately, accommodating special requests, and offering recommendations
· Serving food and drinks in line with Hyatt service standards and presentation guidelines
· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe poolside environment
· Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly during service
· Ensuring assigned sections and side stations are fully stocked and ready for service
· Demonstrating good menu knowledge, including pool menus, beverages, and daily specials
· Operating the P.O.S. system efficiently and handling payments accurately when required
· Supporting opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by management
· Working closely with the Pool Bar, Kitchen, and wider F&B team to ensure smooth operations
· Adapting to guest needs and operational demands with a flexible, positive, and professional attitude

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Requirements

·  Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress , ideally in pool, bar, or outdoor F&B environments (preferred)
·  Strong service mindset with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
·  Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
·  Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus
·  Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, seasonal, outdoor environment
·  Team‑player attitude, respectful and supportive toward colleagues and guests
·  Professional appearance and compliance with Hyatt grooming and uniform standards
·  Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
·  Availability to work for the full 4‑month pool season
