Duties and responsibilities of the Night Receptionist:

· Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the Front Office during the night shift, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for all guests.
· Provide a warm, professional, and efficient check-in and check-out experience while handling guest enquiries and requests promptly.
· Complete all night audit procedures accurately, ensuring daily financial transactions are reconciled and reported.
· Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues by conducting regular security checks and responding to incidents appropriately.
· Build positive working relationships with all hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
· Lead by example during the night shift, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere while supporting colleagues when required.
· Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and operational processes, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the role.
· Prepare detailed handover reports and communicate key information to the daytime team to ensure continuity of service.

About you

You are a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys delivering outstanding guest experiences and thrives in a customer-focused environment. You have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional when working independently at night. A natural problem-solver, you take pride in maintaining high standards of service, safety, and attention to detail. Previous experience in a hotel front office role is desirable, but a positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest service are essential.
