Job description
·
Supports the hotel’s focus on service excellence by training and assisting others to train people to provide exceptional service to the hotel’s external customers (guests).
·
Markets the need for training programmes to others, identifying and communicating the value of training, exhibiting how training affects the bottom line.
·
Assists to review the progress of the hotel's Training Plan and make recommendations where necessary.
·
Assists with the monitoring of departmental standards as defined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
·
Ensures the maximum utilisation of Departmental Trainers in each department.
·
Monitors the performance of the Trainees ensuring they are developed to their maximum potential and efficiency.
·
Encourages associates to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.
·
Demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
