Laundry Supervisor – Grand Hyatt Barcelona

The Laundry Supervisor at Grand Hyatt Barcelona will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s laundry department, ensuring process efficiency, service quality, and adherence to Hyatt standards. They will work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure proper management of linens, uniforms, and guest textiles.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise the laundry team by organizing shifts and daily tasks.

Ensure quality standards are met for washing, drying, ironing, and presentation of textiles.

·
Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet linen and uniform needs.

·
Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies, requesting replenishments as needed.

·
Oversee the maintenance of laundry machinery and equipment, reporting issues and arranging repairs.

·
Train and motivate the laundry team to maintain high performance and comply with hygiene and safety standards.

·
Monitor costs and optimize the use of cleaning products and energy to ensure operational efficiency.

·
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

REQUIREMENTS:

· 
Minimum Education:
Compulsory Secondary Education

· 
Knowledge of laundry and/or dry cleaning processes

· 
Strong leadership and adaptability skills

· 
Minimum Experience:
At least 2 years

· 
Must reside in:
The province of the job vacancy

· 
Required Languages:
English – Intermediate level
Spanish – Advanced level
