Some of the responsibilities include:

· Operate commercial washers, dryers and ironing machines in a safe manner
· Picking up, tagging and sorting of guest laundry and dry-cleaning
· Record quantity of packed items in the packing and delivery log books
· Spotting of garments for stain removal
· Deliver guest garments
· Wash and process staff uniforms
· Loading and unloading washing machines

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Previous experience within a hotel environment, or a similar fast-paced role
·  A strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills
·  The ability to act consistently with clear ethics and values in accordance to confidentiality
·  An understanding of safe lifting practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential
·  Superior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
·  The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
·  The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
