Hotel Introduction
Hyatt Regency Dongguan, the first Hyatt International hotel in Guangdong province, with Guangzhou bordering it to the north and Shenzhen to the south, is adjacent to the Dongguan Song Shan Lake Government Offices and Vanke Life Plaza. Covering an area of 200,000 square meters, it has a breathtaking lakefront view, making the location a paradise for both business and leisure.
JOB DESCRIPTION-F&B INTERN
Restaurant Service
Provides fluent and efficient service in accordance with Hyatt standards.
Possesses thorough knowledge of menus and wine lists, and provides F&B recommendations.
Seats guests, takes orders and serves food per procedures to avoid unnecessary delay.
Is proficient in all operations of the MICROS system.
Upsells soup, beverages, salads, desserts etc. to increase revenue.
Ensures table setting meets standards and tidies tables promptly after dining.
Makes accurate reservations and confirms dining guests.
Ensures normal operation of F&B and equipment in line with Departmental Operation Manual.
Strives to satisfy guests and encourage repeat visits.
Reports any problems to Manager/Assistant Manager for solutions.
Room Service
Repeats orders before hanging up to ensure order correctness.
Ensures prompt and on-time food delivery to guest rooms.
Strictly adheres to hotel policies and does not enter DND rooms.
Collects all tableware from rooms and corridors upon notification.
Ensures accurate billing and collects payment for room service.
Event Service
Sets up banquet venues according to guest requests.
Checks video equipment before events and displays banners correctly.
Satisfies guest requests and reports difficulties to Assistant Manager.
Ensures table linen and equipment are clean before storage.
Cooperates with Rooms, Engineering and Art departments to keep venues clean and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Education : bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality/related field
- Language Skills : a good working knowledge of English and proficiency in local language is an advantage
- Experience : relevant internship & work experience in hotel or hospitality operations is an advantage
- Skills : strong communication & interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and cultural awareness
- Personal Attribute : passionate about hospitality, high adaptability & resilience, and curious about global hospitality trends
