The Human Resources Director will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Human Resources is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources Division and the implementation of Hyatt’s People Philosophy throughout the hotel.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
· Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of HR, or 5 years as HR Manager in larger operation.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality.
· English intermediate level.
· Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
· Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
· Above average oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members.
· Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction.
· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
· General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
