Job description
· Reports complaints or problems to Housekeeping Assistant Manager if no immediate solution can be found.
· Ensures the Housekeeping Assistant Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the customers or other departments.
· Ensures a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintains an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel.
· To be knowledgeable and promote / upsell Outlets and other facilities/ program whenever opportunities arises.
· Ensures a high level of product knowledge of hotel and local area.
· Complies with the Hotel policies and procedures relating to Rooms Division.
· Complies with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Rooms Division.
· Maintains and updates guest history and marketing database as laid down in Front office procedures.
· Ensures a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
· Ensures a high level of liaison is maintained between guests and all other departments within the hotel.
· Ensures the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms meet Hyatt Brand Standards.
· Ensures room are ready for arrival of the day.
· Inspects all VIP and long-stay guest rooms (arrival and in-house).
· Ensures all in-house guests room are all made up before guest return to the hotel.
· Ensure turndown services are done in accordance with brand standards.
· Reports to Engineering Department and provide access to the guest room for repair and maintenance.
· Handles shoe shine, unpacking and packing of luggage as requested by guest.
· Handles pickup and delivery of guest laundry and ensures it is returned to guest room in a timely manner.
· Handles all VIP arrival and special turndown amenities.
· Handles all suite room occupants.
· Ensures proper storage and issues of guest supplies/amenities to the respective floor maid's pantry and Floor Host pantry.
· Prepares requisition for insufficient supplies/amenities for the Housekeeping Coordinator to order.
· To signed off any replenishment of mini bar items from Room Service.
· Assist and channel all reservations booking and flight confirmation to Concierge where necessary.
· Handles all collection and delivery of guest laundry.
· Handles all guests' request item.
· Ensures pest control program is followed and treatment is done regularly.
· Liaises with Bell Service for smooth handling of luggage and transport services.
· Ensures all expected check out guest is given a warmth farewell.
· Reports missing and damaged hotel property.
· Reports and turns in all Lost & Found items as per Hotel “Lost and Found” policy.
· To be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Indonesian Nationality with a degree in Hospitality or Business Management
· Has minimum 1 (one) year experience in a similar position in 5 (five) stars International Hotel Chain
· Previous experience in Luxury Hotel or international experience are advantages
· Strong in leadership and business acumen
· Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset and people management & development skills
