Park Hyatt Zanzibar is looking for a Head Chef who is vested with abilities and skills to run and administer our culinary department.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The Head Chef that we are looking for has to have the following qualities

·  A diploma/degree in Food production, Hotel Management
·  3 years prior working experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a reputable luxury brand
·  strong organizational skills which will enable him to coordinate with local food suppliers for deliveries of local fresh and seasonal food
·  Extensive budget making skills and food cost controlling skills
·  strong team work skills together with other operational departments especially the FNB service department
·  strong communication skills which will enable him/ her to talk and take feedback from the guest
·  quick and applicable tactics in solving guest problems
·  strong administrative and time keeping skills
