The Role

An outgoing, extrovert personality who can enhance the authentic interaction with guests while highlighting the interpersonal component. He / She enjoys interacting with guests and colleagues, as well as to provide additional efforts to create a more welcoming environment. Multi-tasking / multi-skill is vital.

To work on rotation basis within the Grand Club, this includes Front Office operations, F&B service and amenities.

Some of the responsibilities include:

· To work on rotation basis within the Grand Club, this includes Front Office operations, F&B service and amenities, depending on daily requirements and the schedule posted by the department. To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with the hotel's policies in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
· To ensure that the guests are offered the highest level of personalized service at all times and to report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests. Awareness of hotel activities and a proper handover of the pending points for next shift's follow up and action is crucial.
· To ensure that F&B items, equipment and other facilities in the Grand Club are maintained to standards. To be aware of the correct usage of the Birch Street system and its different functions. Records in Opera system and reports to direct supervisor for any special guest, requests, or complaints. To ensure that the Assistant Manager – Grand Club signs all rebates and paid out vouchers with clear explanations. To monitor operating supplies and F&B stock, and reduce spoilage, wastage, and/or expiry.
· General responsibilities are to maintain a high standard of grooming and hygiene at all times, to maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues and all other departments. Full support to Supervisors and team is essential, for any other reasonable duties and responsibilities are assigned.

What are we looking for?

Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 1 year work experience in hotel operations. Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must
