Job description

A Front Office Host is responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. Other duties may include processing forms of payment, responding to guest inquires, assisting with luggage storage/delivery, VIP airport transfers and answering of incoming phone calls in PBX. For airport transfers, they will safely and efficiently transport guests to local destinations by operating a hotel car, van or shuttle.

This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.

In this versatile role, this individual will also cross-train as a PBX operator and guest service agent. The right individual must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude, excellent phone demeanor and the ability to assist with escorting guests and their luggage/personal items to and from guest rooms efficiently. This individual must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.This position requires a flexible schedule, including working weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidate profile

Qualifications :

Previous customer service experience required.

·  A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
·  Refined verbal and written communication skills.
·  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
·  Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift, push and carry moderate amounts of weight on a consistent basis.
