Floor Porter - Housekeeping

Salary: £27,534 + Tronc

What you will do as a Floor Porter:

· Maintain cleanliness of guest floors, corridors, and service areas.
· Collect and dispose of trash, linen, and other waste as per standards.
· Deliver and retrieve guest amenities, extra linen, and housekeeping supplies.
· Assist Room Attendants by providing linen, towels, and cleaning supplies.
· Ensure housekeeping trolleys and pantries are well stocked and organized.
· Report maintenance issues, lost & found items, and any irregularities immediately.
· Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
· Assist with guest requests promptly and professionally.
· Support in deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping projects.
About you
You are a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order in guest areas. You work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that luggage handling, room setups, and public areas are managed smoothly. Previous experience in hospitality or porter duties is preferred, along with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and safety.
