The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for a driven and organised individual looking for a new challenge. As support in our Hotel’s largest team, you will coordinate administrative duties and assist the Director of Events Service and management team. This is a role where no two days are the same within a volume and constant environment. It is an ideal role for someone with Banquets/Events Service experience and is looking for their next career move in an administrative position.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
· Assist the Director of Events Service with the planning, development and implementation of fortnightly rosters using Microster rostering and attendance system
· Allocate adequate staffing to ensure the efficient completion of tasks and responsibilities on shift
· Prepare relevant materials for events as directed (e.g. preparing menu labels)
· Liaise with the Sales team, to ensure all floorplans, labels and DDRs are up to date and ready for the operations team
· Liaise with the Culinary team and Assistant Managers – Events Service, to ensure all menu items meet and exceed client expectations
· Attend internal meetings (e.g. BEO meetings) as required
· Maintain the office area in a neat and tidy manner, ensuring stationery and supply levels are adequate
· Undertake front of house service duties as required
