Events Manager (Convention)

We are looking for an experienced Events Manager (Convention) to maximize sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments. You will explore into new and repeat business opportunities as well as maintain strong relationships with the guests, event organizers, vendors and bookers.

Qualifications :

Ideal candidates shall meet the following criteria:

·  Progressive career in Event Sales in a 5-star luxury property, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role handling corporate and social events
·  Superior customer service skills
·  Exceptional problem-solving, strategy formulation and account development skills with high regard for details and accuracy
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
·  Strong management and leadership capabilities
·  Passion for working with people
