Duties and responsibilities related to the Events & Groups Planner role
· Event Planning & Coordination: Manage all aspects of events, from planning to execution, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth operations.
· Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for event clients, providing guidance and ensuring their needs are met.
· Group Bookings Management: Handle group bookings for corporate events, meetings, and social gatherings, coordinating logistics and details.
· Budget & Contract Oversight: Prepare event proposals, manage budgets, and oversee contracts to ensure events stay within financial and operational parameters.
· Venue & Logistics Coordination: Work with internal teams to organize venue setups, catering, and technical requirements for events.
· Sales & Marketing Support: Collaborate with the sales team to promote event spaces and attract new clients.
· Post-Event Follow-Up: Gather client feedback after events to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
About you
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in event planning and group coordination, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting. You will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong customer service orientation and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential.
