We are the first Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place in Switzerland with over 550 guest rooms, directly connected to the Circle Convention Center with over 2,800 square meters of event space. The convention center is also operated by Hyatt and can accommodate up to 2,500 guests. The hotel is in the most central and best-connected location in Switzerland, in the heart of Europe.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Planning Manager to join Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Event Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests. Your expertise in event management, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will contribute to the success of our events in our Convention Center.

Furthermore, you are able to:

Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events and special occasions, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and service in the Convention Center.

· Conduct thorough site inspections to assess event venues, ensuring they meet client expectations and are in line with hotel standards.
· Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines, providing clients with comprehensive plans that address their needs and preferences.
· Coordinate with internal departments in the hotel to ensure seamless execution of events.
· Foster relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing their performance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
· Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and generate reports to evaluate event performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations for future events.

What you bring:

· Work experience in hotel Event Planning, or a related field.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills, to prioritize tasks and manage multiple events simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, guests, and team members.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in managing a team and overseeing event operations.
· Creativity and ability to think outside the box to deliver unique and memorable events.
· Fluency in German and English is a must-have skill, any other language is a plus.
