About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment

As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will be responsible to prepare consistent , high quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.

Some of the responsibilities include

· Assisting in preparation of ingredients
· Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
· To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
· Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

A successful candidate will have:

·  Minimum 1 years work experience
·  Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
·  Qualification in Commercial Cookery
·  Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
·  A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
