About the role
As a Part-Time Breakfast Chef, you will support the smooth daily operation of the BistroX kitchen during breakfast service.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes consistently and efficiently.
· Supporting breakfast mise en place, service and kitchen close-down procedures.
· Working confidently across the breakfast section, including eggs, hot dishes, cold items and garnishes.
· Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
· Ensuring fresh, frozen and dry goods are stored securely, correctly labelled and properly rotated.
· Working collaboratively with the kitchen, front-of-house and hotel operations teams.
· Communicating clearly and professionally during busy service periods.
· Managing multiple orders and tasks in a high-volume, high-energy kitchen.
· Maintaining clean, safe and organised kitchen and storage areas.
· Complying with all hotel policies, procedures and food safety requirements.
· Contributing to a supportive, friendly and professional team environment.
This is a part-time position primarily focused on morning breakfast shifts. Availability across weekdays, weekends, shifts outside of breakfast and public holidays may be required.

About you
· Previous experience as a CDP in a quality, high-volume kitchen.
· Strong breakfast cookery skills and confidence working during fast-paced service.
· An innovative and creative approach to food.
· Appropriate qualifications in commercial cookery.
· Sound knowledge of food safety and safe food-handling practices.
· A reliable, professional and proactive attitude.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills and openness to sharing feedback and ideas.
· Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
· Excellent presentation, punctuality and attention to detail.
