Job description
· The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth running of the Western Kitchen; whilst ensuring the culinary activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategies.
· The Chef de Cuisine assists to devise special dishes and develop innovative recipes where applicable; also establishes and enforces sanitation standards for the assigned Kitchen.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience as Chef de Cuisine, preferably with experience in luxury international branded hotels
· Experienced in large scale event operations will be an advantage
· Creative and knowledgeable of current culinary trends
· Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential.
· Diversity in culture with international working experience background is preferred
· Good communications and interpersonal skills
· Good command of English required and Chinese an advantage
· Possessing computer proficiency
· Capable to manage Culinary teams and management functions
