AV Technician

Job description

Park Hyatt Doha is seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our prestigious team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio, video, and lighting equipment for various events and functions held at our luxury property. The AV Technician will work closely with event coordinators, clients, and other technical staff to ensure high-quality audio-visual experiences that meet the exceptional standards of Park Hyatt Doha.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or event venue.
·  Proficient in operating a wide range of AV equipment, including soundboards, video projectors, and lighting systems.
·  Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
·  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
·  Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
·  Knowledge of AV system design and installation is an advantage.
·  Certification in AV technology (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) is desirable.
