Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and enthusiastic – Assistant Housekeeping Manager with a strong background and experience in Housekeeping and rooms’ management, good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a great leadership to join our energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali

The goal of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager is to work directly with and in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager to managing the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department. The ideal Assistant Housekeeping Manager will accomplish this by monitoring the daily functions of the housekeeping department, including providing training, support and guidance to the housekeeping team, ending in a positive guest experience.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible to manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry.

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager and below are some of the key responsibilities:

· To ensure through effective supervision that all services offered in the Housekeeping Department are always available and are carried out with the utmost efficiency and courtesy as per the departmental operations manual.
· Conducts regular inspections of rooms and public areas ensuring standards of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
· Conducts inventory of equipment, linen, chinaware, and glassware and reports to Executive Housekeeper.
· To liaise with the Front Office on anticipated guest check ins, check outs, rooms assignments and rooming list.
· Ensures that all Housekeeping Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Attendants deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
· Handles guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
· Monitors employee morale and provide mechanisms for performance feedback and development.
· Respond to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changes as dictated by the hotel, industry & company.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity / position in luxury international brands.
·  Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken.
·  Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
·  Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
·  Must possess the following strengths: has strong leadership, high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
·  Well-versed in housekeeping, public area and laundry operational
·  Is well versed in working with Property Management System such as Opera, Medallia, Hotsos, as well as other PMS systems and departmental reports.
