Role Purpose

In this role the Wealth Coach works with insurance sales managers to improve Wealth Planning Specialist’s (WPS) capability and performance. Although coaching remains as one of the core responsibilities of sales managers, the Wealth Coach supplements the capacity and capabilities of sales managers to assist in developing WPSs that are able to provide a professional financial planning services and outstanding customer experience to our valuable prospects and policyholders. Wealth Coach acts as a consultant to WPS and provide idea and advice on coping with job-related challenges. Wealth Coach will focus on supporting the post on-boarding and development of new WPSs and/or improving the productivity of WPS. The coaching for WPS through role-playing, joint customer meeting, workshops, etc. primarily focuses on financial planning, client engagement skills and sales activities and process including utilization of key client engagement and sales tools. Wealth Coach also works with Insurance Academy to develop training solutions to address development needs of Macau insurance sales team.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in the role, the job holder should meet the following requirements:
-        Minimum 8 years of sales/coaching experience required, with at least 2 years of experience with proven track record as insurance specialist/ financial planner in leading financial institution
-        Experience with high net worth and investment products are required
-        Strong understanding of wealth products in market
-        Indepth knowledge and expertise in area of coaching responsibility including financial planning, insurance sales process and client skill
-        Knowledge of insurance regulations, policies and competitive strategies across the wealth management industry
-        Strong communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders
-        Positive attitude with the capability to work under pressure and deliver on multiple deadlines
-        Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1, 3, and 5
