We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President, Financial Crime Detection and DE

Business: Risk & Compliance

·  The following principal accountabilities are aligned to the Financial Crime Services and Processes Model.
·  Ensure a proactive approach is taken to the identification of any changes in the FC risk profile and potential impact to the architecture, technology and control framework. Ensure a consistent application of the framework to drive consistent and efficient outcomes
·  Ensure the professional delivery of investment across investigative tools to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, security, and cost profile of FC. Apply judgement on the criticality and operational prioritization with a view to influence both short term tactical changes and longer-term strategic direction
·  Leadership to drive, develop and implement programmes to address, manage and mitigate the impact of FC related regulatory changes/ developments to current and future state architecture across the Investigations control framework
·  Membership and participation in other fora as relevant (this includes but is not limited to governance meetings with Global Businesses, Regions and Markets)
·  Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Detection, Digital Enablement, Global functions, Global businesses, DBS, Regions, Countries, Markets
·  Develop and maintain a strong and professional working relationship with Senior Management of Risk, Audit and Finance at Business, Group and Regional levels
·  Support external relationships with key public sector partners and peers. Provide strategic direction and oversight of the firm’s participation in initiatives with key members of Group, public sector and peers to share information on FC risks and their impact on the control framework
·  Identify, facilitate selection and manage vendors as appropriate to maximize cost-efficient delivery whilst promoting strategic partnership
·  Lead or liaise with relevant stakeholders within to provide expertise and support on all FC investigation tools related matters

Requirements

·  Proven ability in leading and building teams to deliver business and technology change in a highly complex and global environment
·  Proven experience in defining strategies, product roadmaps and managing their subsequent implementation
·  Excellent knowledge of the FinCrime domain, as well as a deep understanding of Investigations processes
·  Ability to shape the definition of technology change based on a defined business outcome
·  Ability to prioritise investment decisions internal to the case management domain
·  Proven ability to influence change in and outside the span of direct control
·  Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with senior managers at all levels
·  A background in understanding operational risk is desirable
·  Knowledge of a range of technical and non-technical areas is essential
·  Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques is desirable
