Poste et missions:
Market Risk Management London is part of HSBC Risk, and has oversight on all issues linked to traded market risk. A large part of the day to day job is to set market risk limits, interact with Front Office (Trading, Structuring and Sales), and make sure risk is managed in line with the risk appetite of the bank. The team is currently looking for an additional member to work on their Interest Rates (Vanilla and Structured Rates) business.
Your mission:
Your missions will be the following:
- Implement and run risk reporting tools in order to be able to monitor positions taken by the traders
- Help with the implementation and improvement of risk systems
- Perform daily analyses on trader positions and risks
- Communicate relevant risk issues to appropriate Risk or FO stakeholders
- Ensure traders stay within their limits on a daily basis
- Take part in the governance of market risk IT projects
- Help the team in providing responses to regulatory requests
Profil:
- Educated to degree level (ideally in a numeric discipline)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Willingness and capacity to implement VBA, databases and spreadsheet based tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills / Fluent in English
- Ability to research and develop themes for business meetings
