Issuer Services and Lending Operations (ISVL Ops) is part of Wholesale Client Services. ISVL Ops supports UK, US, France, ME and Asia Issuer Services business, Bond Issuance, Escrow, Account Bank and Wholesale Lending functions. This role holder is accountable for Loan Agency, Corporate Trust, Escrow and Loan Administration Operations functions for the US balance sheet.
As our US Wholesale Head of Issuer Services and Lending Operations. you will:
· Lead of product, operations, technology and transformation teams on technical, risk and people matters
· Lead a US Ops team on/off shore (US, IN, MY) to deliver high quality end to end service
· Ability to lead through others to deliver on clear strategy and objectives
· Embed and maintain strong team culture and hiring and retaining talent
· Manage escalations to C Suite level execs with clarity and precision
· Sustain and grow strong relationships with senior stakeholders, actively influencing them to deliver our vision
· Maintain oversight on service and risk through a delegations and escalation protocols
· Accurate and timely identification and management of risks through transparency, escalation and MI
· Maintain strong business culture focused on clients, risk, control, production and Global convergence
· Proactive leadership within both local, global and business functional leadership teams
· Proven ability to understand complex deals, restructures and defaults; and execute safe operational support
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $189,300.00 and $250,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
· Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, actively influencing them to help deliver our vision
· Manage escalations to C Suite level execs with clarity and precision
· Leading an operations team across multiple locations to deliver high quality service
· Leading through others to drive with successful delegations and escalation protocols
· Leading the design and deployment of utilities within GSCs Operations
· Demonstrating outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
· Identifying, manage and mitigate risks proactively and reactively
· Embedding and maintaining strong risk culture across all levels of the organization
· Strong operational knowledge preferably in product (optimally Loans or Bonds)
· Acting as a change agent and driving continuous improvement
· Managing the headcount and costs in line with approved annual budgets
· Practical experience of major transformation activities
