We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior IT Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities

· 
Lead a team to design and develop index systems, which are aligned with group standards, Technology and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory and operational risk controls.

· 
Manage the development team to ensure Technology strategy is aligned with the business strategies of Hang Seng Index.

· 
Define the future technology state and convert business initiatives into actions in platform design and development process to maximize the technology investment values

· 
Participate and mobilize the team in flagship and large complex transformation projects

Requirements

· 
University degree in Computer Science or related discipline

· 
Proven experience in the technology development with over 5 years in supporting financial data processing system, preferably in mission critical and index operation and management area.

· 
Exposure on Cloud technology (e.g. Google Cloud), financial market data processing (Indexes, Equities, Market, Futures and Options), interfacing with market data system or Exchange is preferred

· 
Familiar and have good track record in transforming high complex financial domain requirement into system solution (e.g. back-testing simulation and quantitative review)

· 
Good understanding on new technology trend (e.g. Generative AI, Open API, Cloud computing)

· 
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes, especially in providing critical system support

· 
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, people management and project management skills

· 
Ability to work under high pressure and commit to deadline and quality

· 
In-depth understanding on software development and Agile development methodologies.

· 
Proficiency in both English and Chinese

· 
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
