Role Overview
· Support in the development of the marketing strategies and communications for Credit Cards and Consumer Assets (Personal loan, Mortgages & Auto loans)
· Work with respective CVM teams, Multi-channel Retail Distribution, Customer Experience process owners and develop a compelling and category leading product journeys for the above products
· Liaise with our creative & media agency to develop differentiated and insightful creative communications
· Interface with the ATL Communication team to develop relevant campaigns as and when required
· Provide strong support during ATL campaign launches
Duties & Responsibilities
The Regional Marketing Manager for Cards & Consumer Assets will be responsible for the following key tasks:
· Implement the Cards and Consumer Assets Marketing Calendar
· Responsible for the delivery of all ATL and BTL marketing communications for the above products across various channels – Print, Radio, Outdoor, Digital, In-branch etc
· Development and execution of marketing campaigns (ATL / BTL ) to achieve the identified business priorities
· Coordinate with Governmental agencies for approvals on various campaigns
· Ensure budget adherence and invoice management for all marketing activities
· Provide support to regional marketing teams on any requirements related to the above products
Over and above the responsibilities mentioned above, this role will require key task for each products. These are mentioned below:
· CARDS
· Ensure up-to-date and consistent information is available on HSBC websites. Conduct regular reviews of regional websites to ensure they are also updated. Identify areas of concern and the work with regional marketing teams to rectify the same.
· Develop and roll out marketing campaigns specifically to-
· Increase Credit Card Spends
· Increase Card Acquisition
· Reduce attrition
· Monthly newsletters – Develop and roll out monthly cards newsletters for HSBC Black, HSBC Premier, HSBC Advance and HSBC Visa cards
· Cards acquisition on-line journey – Coordinate with Digital Marketing and Direct banking team to ensure that the on-line journey is optimised to generate additional leads. Develop BTL campaigns, improve performance of landing pages etc to assist in the same
· Development and up-keep of Card Collaterals- Ensure Application forms, welcome letters, etc are up dated on a regular basis
· Card Alliances – Work closely with CVM team to create awareness and promote various credit card alliances/offers including weekend offers
· CONSUMER ASSETS
· Secured Lending - Personal loans
· Develop various BTL campaigns to
· Increase Digital Leads
· Increase usage of Digital Journeys like – “1Click Top-up and renewal”, Personal loan Calculator and “Decision in Principle”
· Optimise PAL website pages to increase digital metrics
· Ensure consistent and up-to-date information exists across all regional websites
· Develop and roll out key sales aids for front line staff
· Develop specific marketing plans to support MSS staff targeting AEL companies
· Identify and develop digital tools to provide customers with relevant information needed for product purchase
· Un-secured Lending - Mortgages & Auto Loans
· Develop sales kits and aids for Mortgage sales teams
· Develop and roll out cross sell campaigns to existing customers
· Ensure consistent and up-to-date information exists across all regional websites
· Update tariff sheets, forms, other collaterals used by the sales teams
· Identify and develop digital tools to provide customers with relevant information needed for product purchase
· Auto loans – Develop cross sell campaigns and strong BTL campaigns specially during Ramadan period
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Experience & Qualifications
· The job holder will preferably need to have 2-3 years or more experience working in a marketing environment.
· The job holder must have excellent English language skills
· They need to be able to solve problems individually or in groups and committed to developing expertise in team management and motivation.
· They will be familiar with the marketing process and will have worked within a marketing environment.
· The job holder will need to be well organised with strong attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise. They will possess active listening skills and demonstrate an ease in building close working relationships with those outside the department.
· They will be highly creative and challenging to the status quo. They will be enthusiastic, willing to champion the unpopular if right for business strategy; and persuade and motivate individuals in other business areas to support marketing plans.
· Educated to Post graduate/MBA level
· Experience of third party negotiations both for the development of strategic relationships and the maintenance of marketing suppliers.
· High level of personal integrity and values in line with business core values.
