We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme and Project Services Manager (PMO) DBS Transformation

The Programme and Project Services Manager (PMO) DBS Transformation role work in projects of a variety of sizes, which are single or multiple work stream, have country or global dimension, and be of both narrow and broad scope. The principal responsibility of the PMO role is to manage the Technology Programme Management Office, helping to deliver project monitoring, governance and reporting activities.

Main Activities:

·  Manage and control administrative activities for the PMO such as timely production of reports, developing materials for governance committees (global and regional), providing assurance to risks, issues and resourcing controls, etc.
·  Lead financial management topics including FRP process, monthly forecasting for transformation plans, input to key planning tools including Anaplan, RET, MPP and co-ordinate finance guidelines for certification process
·  Ensures the baseline scope, requirements, benefits, schedule, and budget are managed as outlined in Business Transformation Frameworks, at the same time as identifying and intervening where there is slippage and variance from plan
·  Proactively monitor project execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the project lifecycle - take ownership of critical issues and ensure resolution within agreed timescales
·  Implement mitigating plans against identified risks and issues and escalate at regular intervals as and when required via Programme Manager (remaining calm, knowing when to escalate, and escalating with possible solutions)
·  Collaborate and build positive stakeholder relationships providing regular updates to resolve high priority issues affecting the project
·  Act as trusted advisor to business partners and ensure commercially based decisions are taken on prioritizing and optimizing the change portfolio
·  Obtain buy-in from the project sponsor, Steering Committee and other stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes
·  Ensures the Programme/ Project Management control framework effectiveness through Initiation, Definition and Execution phases
·  Assists with closure activities, including post project review and handover, benefits tracking and Programme/ Project quality assurance
·  Actively engages in programme/ project resource management; assists new team members to understand the project context and content, the importance of stakeholder management and wider project goals
·  Oversee the management of project documentation, process documents and information sources
·  Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

·  Proven experience in Programme Management Office role on complex projects across countries or regions
·  Use of English at business level - mandatory (at least 3 years)
·  Project management skills and experience
·  People manager and broad experience in managing teams of different work streams
·  Examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes – a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes
·  In depth experience of working in a banking environment and change projects
·  Understanding of the purpose, value, culture and fundamentals of Global Transformation
·  Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
