We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Proposition Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

·  Lead end-to-end product development projects from concept to launch, including feasibility studies, regulatory approvals, and cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders, including 3 lines of defence, trustees, and fund managers
·  Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and product comparisons to shape business strategy and ensure alignment with HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking, and HSBC Wealth Management’s overall proposition
·  Define and maintain a governance framework for the product shelf, ensuring compliance with regulations, HSBC policies, and risk policies

Stakeholder & Project Leadership

·  Drive Pension projects and enhancements, collaborating with IT, eMPF platform, administrators, and senior stakeholders to clearly communicate requirements and timelines
·  Monitor fund performance, identify improvement opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations to senior management and various governance forum (e.g., business cases, approval papers)

Communication & Investment Analysis 

·  Prepare high-quality product related materials (FAQs, offering documents) and investment analysis reports, translating complex ideas into clear, actionable insights for mass population to understand
·  Act as a subject-matter expert, presenting product/business updates to senior leadership with strong storytelling and persuasive writing skills

Requirements

·  In-depth knowledge of MPF/pensions products, regulatory landscape, and operations (e.g., administration, fund performance tracking), paired with strong common sense to balance technical requirement with business needs
·  Proven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
·  Exceptional English writing and presentation skills – ability to draft investment analyses, simplify technical content, and influence stakeholders
·  Strong senior stakeholder management capabilities, enabling to navigate conflicting priorities, builds consensus, and operates effectively in multicultural environments  
·  Analytical and strategic mindset, leveraging data for decision-making and driving product innovation
·  Strong Leadership with problem-solving skills, able to motivate teams and drive results in fast-paced environments
