Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
• Provide superior professional service to Premier customers through active portfolio management, grow the Premier customer base & deliver the global Premier service standards as per targets set.
• Actively identify new customers and increase the Premier customer base and cross sell ratio
• Seeking new Premier customers through close contact with existing customers, networking in relevant circles and maintaining a good profile in the market, actively making visits outside of the branch to Potential and existing customers.
• Following up on referrals from the bank within SLAs.
• By being responsible for cross selling, the Bank’s products and other services such as financial planning services in order to achieve goals and targets as set in AOP and promoting various low cost distribution channels
• Ensure high standards of customer service and maintain proactive contact with customers in portfolio
• By ensuring that business is handled promptly, and customer problems/complaints and queries are handled quickly, efficiently and tactfully
• Set an example to colleagues in terms of delivering sound, appropriate Wealth solutions and customer service excellence
• Take full responsibility for own personal development
• Contribute to the success of the Premier sales team result
• Support Qatar IWPB in the continuous improvement of the bank’s sales processes and service standards
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• University graduate with at least 2 years of sales & service experience in financial services industry
• Financial Services / Wealth sales experience using non-branch channels (e.g. phone, email, face to face meetings, etc.)
• Strong financial services knowledge and experience building relationships with high-net-worth individuals
• Professional financial qualification preferred (i.e., CISI or equivalent qualification)
• Experience developing a sales strategy and a proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Familiarity with financial markets, good knowledge of wealth management products including insurance & investments
• Experience developing customized Wealth solutions for clients
• Strong selling and presentation skills regarding Wealth / Insurance & Investment solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing and relationship building over the phone
