Job description
The Netreveal Developer role is based within the Global Standards, Financial Intelligence Programme and will be part of the 70-strong UK-based technology team..
The role of the Netreveal Developer is to create complex social network analysis in support of financial crime and fraud detection / prevention technologies.
Work will actyally be done in dataserver macro language, SAS syntax or Scala language.
Your responsibilities will include:
Specify components of the solution - ETL, Build, Scoring, etc
Maintaiin and enhance existing BAES Applied Intelligence Netreveal system
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Financial Crime or Fraud
Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. SAS, Palantir or Netreveal
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Degree in Maths, Physics or Engineeing is desirable but not essential
Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Scala, Spark is desirable but not essential
Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience
Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
