The opportunity: Senior Sales Manager, Global Trade Solutions (GTS)

GTS Nordics is seeking for a Senior Sales to focus on the local Corporate and Institutional Banking clients. The role holder will manage and grow the Global Trade Solutions business of HSBC in the country to achieve the annual and medium-term operating plan targets.

What you will do: 

The job holder must provide business leadership and direction; aligning with Group Strategy and developing HSBC into the leading provider of Trade and Receivables Finance business.  The job holder also has overall responsibility for all Global Trade Solutions activities, resource and planning to maximize the efficiency of Global Trade Solutions together with compliance with all relevant external regulations and internal guidelines to ensure that the Bank’s interest and reputation are protected.

In this role you will:

• Lead and drive the successful growth of Trade and Receivables Finance (RF) with special focus in our outbound strategy.
• Expand and increase the existing customer portfolio and acquire new GTS customers 
• Deliver a superior customer service jointly with the GTS Client Manager in line with being the Leading International Trade Finance Bank  
• Support the GTS Country Head to lead an experienced team of Trade / RF Sales and Client Managers, where skills and knowledge are openly shared with the aim to develop individuals to supporting and meeting business objectives
• Support local HSBC Relationship Managers and Stakeholders

You should apply if you have: 

• Deep GTS product understanding: supply chain, receivables finance, traditional trade (Letters of Credit, imp/exp finance) and guarantees is a must
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
• Extensive banking with international experience (is desirable)
• Extensive knowledge of the market and market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment
• Detailed knowledge of Financial Crime Risk and Credit Risk including techniques to mitigate risk
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
