This role is part of the Asia-Pacific (ASP) B2B Marketing team and is focused on supporting the growth, development and retention of both Corporate and Institutional customer relationships. This is a regional role across 19 markets. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, and programmes to drive measurable results that directly connect to business revenue and brand equity.

These business lines manage relationships with businesses ranging from small businesses to some of the world’s largest institutions. 

The primary focus of this role is to plan and execute data-driven campaigns that are continuously optimised based on performance results, while also pushing the boundaries of creativity. The individual must be skilled in managing paid media, executing events, and integrating these two priority areas into impactful, multi-channel campaigns

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Marketing Strategy and Programmes.

Principal Responsibilities

·  Develop and execute data-driven, insight-led marketing programmes to support the strategic objectives of the business
·  Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to drive strategic, client-centric marketing initiatives that build the HSBC brand, deepen customer relationships, and deliver on business objectives
·  Manage end-to-end delivery of all marketing activities, including media planning and buying, events execution, creative development, content production, and campaign analysis
·  Continuously review campaign performance data to optimize activities and make data-led decisions
·  Ensure marketing activities adhere to HSBC's brand guidelines. Maintain compliance with all relevant governance controls and regulations
·  Build strong relationships with internal partners in the business, as well as with relevant internal teams to ensure effective and efficient marketing program delivery
·  Measure, analyse and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency
·  Push creative boundaries to deliver innovative and impactful marketing solutions
·  Stay updated on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform marketing strategy and plans. Provide recommendations to strategy leads

Requirements

·  Extensive years of experience in a marketing campaigns role – with a particular focus on (1) paid media planning, execution and optimisation and (2) events experience
·  English fluency is a must. Chinese is a strong advantage
·  A track record of delivering successful integrated campaigns and programs that drive measurable business impact
·  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
·  Proficient in using data and analytics to derive customer insights, measure marketing performance, and optimize campaign activities
·  Strong understanding of the Corporate and Institutional customer segments, their needs and the competitive landscape
·  Creative mindset with the ability to ideate innovative marketing solutions
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
·  Thorough understanding of marketing channels, technologies and best practices
·  University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
