Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Insights Consulting.
Principal Responsibilities
· Be the Voice of Customer and inform market dynamics impact on current and future growth opportunity in total market and across customer segments through innovative approach and compelling storytelling
· Lead the generation of actionable customer insights that help solving WPB business and marketing challenges through integrating external research findings, internal customer data, desk research with analytical methodology to enable customer-centric decision making
· Support AOP by proactively connect with stakeholders to understand business needs, lead right-size customer research learning plan development, research execution, insights delivery with in-depth analysis and presentation to deduce meaningful and actionable insights
· Identify brand growth opportunity and reveal customer and competitor intelligence by managing and exploiting brand performance trackers and customer insight programs
· Partner with Group and Regional Insights team to develop and pioneer cross-region customer programs
· Manage external and regional agency relationship to ensure quality insight delivery, and support vendor management within the Insights Consulting team
· Demonstrate and champion a speak-up culture by challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC’s policies and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
Requirements
· Bachelors or master’s degree (Social Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Marketing preferred)
· Extensive work experience in customer insights / strategy planning / customer experience is a must, experience in statistical modelling techniques is an advantage
· Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories
· Experience in conducting ad-hoc projects & continuous tracker (e.g. customer segmentation, brand health tracking, market share tacking, etc.)
· Abilities and skills to create holistic view of brand performance trend and be able to identify and prioritize growth and white space opportunities
· Ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills and managing stakeholders across a matrix organization
