Role Overview
To undertake periodic functional reviews of the MENA Financial Crime Risk (FCR) function, in accordance with a risk based model and in support of the Global FCR Assurance model.

Duties & Responsibilities

· To carry out and support assurance reviews of the MENA FCR functions in accordance with the planned MENA review schedule
· Timely preparation and issuance of reports of each functional review
· To follow-up and maintain up to date records of the implementation of review findings and recommendations
· Proactively input and develop the Assurance Model alongside the GAT
· Build working relationships with each of the MENA CMP Teams
· Participate in any Assurance related project as required
· Proactively participate in team meetings
· Build a good understanding of the CMP function
· Build a good understanding of the business operations (RBWM, GMB, CMB, GPB)

Desired profile

Experience
·  At least 2 to 3 years experience within a Financial Crime Compliance role, having experience within Anti-money Laundering, Sanctions or Anti-bribery and Corruption.
·  Experience with reviews would be an advantage; having monitoring and testing skills
·  Proven organizational, planning, interpersonal, managerial, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and team building skills.
·  Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and proven ability to meet challenging deadlines
·  Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English.
·  Tenacity to follow issues through to resolution.
·  Ability to articulate issues in report a format.
·  Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments timely.
·  Ability to work with different cultural groups and build consensus.
·  Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
