Junior Javascript Developer

The Junior Javascript Developer role is based within Business Infrastructure - Service Assurance COO UK.

The role is to assist with Javascript coding development & quality assurance while also analysing change requested.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a pivotal team working to develop the training & competency system for our front line & back office users within Retail & Wealth banking.

You will act as a link between developers, testers, internal IT and the customer facing business, ensuring all viewpoints are considered and acted upon.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

· The jobholder will be required to manage own area of expertise during specific projects & change cycles (development &/or analysis)
· To deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external parties, ensuring project requirements are understood, agreed, deliverable and managed in accordance with Group standards.
· Work as part of a wider team
· Ensuring all risks are effectively identified and managed
· Support& lead assigned projects and deliverables with the main responsibilities to develop using Javascript coding and complete complex query resolution troubleshooting. Provide continual monitoring of the performance and integrity of the supported systems

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·  Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e Javascript Coding is essential (SQL desirable)
·  Experience of using relevant software packages Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
·  Availability from time to time the individual will be required to work evenings &/or weekends for project launches and live issue resolution fixes (2 to 3 times in an entire year)
·  Past working experience in a relevant role or can demonstrate knowledge, i.e. Javascript Coding


The location of this role is: Whiteley. Although willing to consider remote & flexible working
