We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering.

 

Business: Cross Product Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

·  Deliver code to production as part of the team.
·  Act as a technical lead and mentor of more junior developers.
·  Propose solutions to difficult problems.

Requirements

·  People & Team Leadership: Manage and mentor development teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
·  Project & Delivery Management: Own the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives across FX and Sales platforms, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
·  Domain Expertise: Leverage strong understanding of FX products, front-office sales workflows, and financial market infrastructure to guide technical decisions and product development.
·  Platform Ownership: Drive the technical roadmap and evolution of trading and sales platforms, working closely with architecture, product, and business stakeholders.
·  Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across product, trading, sales, and compliance. Proactively manage expectations, communication, and alignment.
·  Agile & DevOps Practices: Champion agile delivery frameworks and DevOps principles, promoting best practices in CI/CD, testing, and production deployment.
·  Rich experience in software engineering and technology leadership, including team management and delivery ownership.
·  Strong hands-on background in modern technologies such as Java, React, and HTML, with the ability to engage technically when needed.
·  Deep knowledge of FX trading, sales workflows, and the related regulatory and operational landscape.
·  Demonstrated success managing project delivery and cross-team dependencies in a complex organizational setup.
·  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English (written and verbal).
·  Proven ability to lead teams through change, scale platforms, and deliver complex initiatives in a dynamic environment.
