Job description
The HR Business Partner role is reporting to Head of HR for Global Functions HBEU and a member of EMEA HRLT.
The role of the HR Business Partner is to facilitate the effective execution of people agenda for designated business/functions to enable business performance. Primary focus in this role is on Risk and Compliance service lines. This is a great opportunity to work in engaging team of HR professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
· HR advice to HSBC Bank plc - UK Bank / Retail bank (HBEU) Board members for Risk and Compliance.
· ensure global standards are implemented consistently
· execution of business change programmes, most notably around headcount and cost, location optimisation
· execution with regard to Corporate Restructuring
· execution of global people initiatives on behalf of Global Head of HR for Risk and Compliance
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
· Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. HR
· Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. HR Business Partner
· A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
· Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
· Worked collaboratively with other colleagues, supporting them when possible
· Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering HR Business Partner services in a bigger and complex organisation.
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
