We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Equities, Southeast Asia - International Wealth and Premier Banking.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

·  Oversee, managing and growing the Equities business across advisory and execution for both Private Bank and Retail Wealth
·  Grow the Dedicated Advisory & Dealing proposition in the Private Bank which entails providing high-touch advisory and execution services from both Cash equities and Equity-linked Structured Products perspective
·  Ensure efficient and timely execution by the team of exchange traded securities and stock options placed by internal partners and Private Bank clients
·  Understand the bank's platforms, dealing processes and systems across Private Bank and Retail Wealth and propose and implement capability enhancements to help grow the business and mitigate risk issues. Raising visibility and awareness of the existing platform and capabilities internally as well as externally by marketing these capabilities
·  Work closely with the Structured Products Desk to grow the Equity-linked Structured Products business across both Private Bank and Retail Wealth
·  Participate in internal and external business events, road shows and seminars as required by the business
·  Lead, supervising and managing the team and ensure team members are adequately trained from a system, product and advisory point of view and ensure proper risk management procedures are followed
·  Promote a risk and compliance culture within the business and alignment to Group policies and practices and ensuring compliance with all local Singapore regulations and registration requirements at all times

Requirements

To be successful you will need

·  Strong background in Equities and client advisory, and knowledge of global Equity markets and various Equity sectors
·  Knowledge and background in equities execution and sales trading across key Equity markets globally
·  Knowledge and understanding of Equity-linked Structured Products, its pricing and execution
·  Strong understanding of dealing processes and experience in Equities trading platform development
·  Ability to understand systems and platforms and able to demonstrate good risk management practices
·  Must possess excellent presentation skills and able to present in all types of settings with both clients and internal stakeholders
·  Experience in leading and managing teams

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
