Digital is one of the growth priorities for Retail Banking and Wealth Management, an essential component of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management strategy. Between now and 2017, HSBC is investing USD1.7 billion in Retail Banking and Wealth Management to accelerate digital and streamlining activity globally and Hong Kong is among the six largest markets that we are investing. This significant investment will drive the transformation of our operations and sales and distribution network, making it easier for our customers to do business with us, and for us to serve their needs more efficiently and effectively.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Digital Commercialization, Asia Pacific.
Principal responsibilities
Deliver ambitious commercial growth in Digital performance, with a particular focus on the four priority key performance indicators: Digital Engagement; Digital Leads; Digital Transactions and Servicing Ratio; and Digital Revenue
Develop the overarching commercial business strategy that positions Digital as an increasing driver of Retail Banking and Wealth Management’s revenue and business improvement
Work with the local country Heads of Digital to ensure there is sufficient plan in place to meet and exceed local targets
Develop a coherent and executable partnership strategy to drive new digital leads, content partnerships and realize new commercial benefits from the delivered platforms
Oversee the optimization of customer communications including non HSBC channels such as social media, to be conducted in close partnership with the Marketing function to drive a common digital growth agenda
Set Governance Standards to ensure the business performs against strategic metrics
Work collaboratively across the organization driving Retail Banking and Wealth Management’s commercial strategy, taking advantage of opportunities and mitigating risk
Desired profile
Requirements
Extensive digital expertise and network with a planning background from agency, preferably in digital channel
Strong leadership in communication campaigns demonstrated by external speaking engagements and internal transformation
Strong Asia experience and orientation with a mixture of corporate and entrepreneurial experience
Proven track record in developing internal communications
Proven ability to navigate and deliver results in a matrixed organization with the ability to leverage data and analytics to gain insights
High level of influence and personal gravitas with the ability to lead and influence global teams
Degree-qualified and post-graduate education desirable
