The Client Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) Analyst is responsible for supporting governance for Client related processes for HSBC Private Bank in Switzerland (PBRS). The position gives the unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the management of the risks related to the client’s lifecycle, starting from the onboarding process approval coordination up to the follow up of the potential Bank exit decisions.

What you will do: 

The Client Selection and Exit Management Analyst assists the head of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Governance in orchestrating key stakeholders in the exercise of their governance responsibilities. She/he also ensures that all the risks related to the clients’ onboarding and the life cycle are properly adhered to. She/he will assist the Secretariat of the Due Diligence Committee (DDC) and of the Reputational Risk Client Selection Committee (RRCSC) in ensuring that all decided actions are implemented on a timely basis.

 

In this role you will:

·  Ensuring full alignment to the Group Private Bank (GPB) policy and procedures, by maintaining updated Desk Instruction Manuals, Compliance Monitoring Plans and Variances/Deviations, when applicable.
·  Ensuring full adherence to the GPB Risk and Controls model and a continued delivery of sustainable key control indicators though a timely reporting of monthly Management Information (MI’s) and Key Performance and Risk Indicators (KPIs/KRIs).
·  Collaboration across other locations and Line of Business, participation to Working Groups.
·  The Client Selection and Exit Management Analyst will additionally ensure the following, acting as support and coverage, as needed, to the Secretariat of the key Risk (RRCSC & DDC) Committees:
·  Quality of material submitted to RRCSC & DDC, by ensuring minimum standards are respected.
·  Synergy of activities between both Committees.
·  Proper coordination between the Committees' Members and the different stakeholders.
·  Accurate drafting of the minutes and efficient follow-up on open actions raised by the Committees.
·  Maintain the highest possible standard in the Client Selection and Exit Management Process and deliver operational excellence
·  Improve quality and leverage CLM & Front Office (FO’s) know-how in regards to the material submitted to RRCSC & DDC by ensuring minimum standards are respected in terms of formatting and content
·  Develop synergies and streamlining of activities, as well a proper coordination between both Committees and the different stakeholders
·  Accurate drafting of the minutes regarding the discussions held as well as the final decisions of the Committees
·  Efficient follow-up on open Actions raised by the Committees

Requirements

·  Excellent organizational and communication skills, fluent in English, both written and spoken
·  Inter-personal skilled, at ease under pressure and demonstrating excellent resilience
·  Good knowledge of the Private Banking business and processes
·  Ability to motivate and achieve high performance for himself/herself and for the stakeholders
·  Proven change management capacity and strong leadership and prioritization skills
·  Skilled IT user with a capacity to adapt to new or complex tools and use efficiently all usual software suit (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, etc…)
·  International profile with practice in another countries and multi-cultural experience is a plus
·  Flexible and accountable: Open (to different ideas and cultures), dependable (by doing the right thing and take personal accountability) and Connected (with our clients, providers, regulators and colleagues by demonstrating collaboration and respect)
