Job description

The Client Implementation Manager role is based in the Payments and Cash Management (PCM)Implementation team, whose purpose is to implement complex cash management solutions both globally and across the Europe region for our top-end Corporates and Financial Institutions.
 
The role of the Client Implementation Manager is to achieve and realise new business income for the HSBC Group by pro-actively project managing the implementation of major Global, Pan-European and complex UK domestic cash management customer solutions, adopting a consultative approach and advising on PCM best practices. To ensure the solution is coordinated and delivered within agreed timescales, managing customer expectations and resolving any issues arising with the relevant HSBC product owners. The role is also to promote the utilisation of all cash management products to maximise the Bank's return, whilst managing and developing client relationships on an ongoing basis in order to maximise cross selling opportunities.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
Project managing the implementation of highly complex PCM customer facing projects both regionally and globally, providing key clients with consultation throughout the life cycle of the project
Driving project timelines in order to achieve optimal time to revenue
Being up to date with product and technical developments in order to implement the most appropriate customer solution
Leading internal and client facing steering groups and committees to ensure analysis and mitigation of risks and issues
Building close working relationships with European and global colleagues in order to facilitate a smooth and timely customer implementation
Full adherence to Project Governance Methodology.

Desired profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Commercial Banking / Corporate Banking and possess a understanding of customer relationships 
Excellent project management skills, with relevant qualifications being highly desirable
Have the ability to communicate with all levels of management, both within the bank and with customers
Be customer driven with a strong focus on customer service
Demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness and customer needs
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Payments and Cash Management is desirable but not essential
Cash Management is desirable but not essential
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. ACT Cert ICM is desirable but not essential
Foreign language speaker is desirable but not essential
Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project 
A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same 
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
Experience of building effective customer relationships which create customer advocacy
The base location for this role is Park Street, London
