We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Cash Network Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Identification and selection of high quality agent banks in the APAC markets to provide cash product nostro services
Ensuring all agent bank appointments are consistent with regulatory and compliance requirements
Ensure HSBC Group receives a high quality, competitively priced service from its nostro agents in APAC region
Conduct all work activity in a highly controlled manner which results in conforming with all external regulations and internal control requirements
Undertaking overseas onsite review visits where appropriate and in line with agreed travel plan
Compiling and maintaining detailed onsite review files and trip notes for inspection by Compliance and auditors
Negotiating and retaining a competitive tariff structure for all HSBC Group entities who maintain nostro agents in the APAC region
Providing ongoing technical support to Global Relationship Managers, client support teams, and product development areas within the APAC region
Desired profile
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in operations, relationship management, payments and cash management, dealing with international cash business or settlements
A broad understanding of macro Group relationships and the wider impacts of the appointment or non-appointment of nostro agents
Strong analytical, decision making and negotiation skills, high work standards and attention to detail
Strong client-facing skills
High quality verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to travel abroad for up to two weeks at a time
Must be capable of original thought
