We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

·  Equities & X Asset Financing Tech solve some of the most interesting and complex problems in the financial industry to help our global business and its customers succeed. Shipping code early and often using Agile and DevOps engineering practices is critical for us to deliver business value, with continuous improvement and learning at the centre of everything we do.
·  We are motivated by pushing the boundaries of financial and technological innovation, in an open, inclusive, and diverse environment. We are currently seeking a talented professional with strong Oracle Database Administration skills to join our team as a Specialist engineer in our Guangzhou office.
·  You will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments and definition of standards pertaining to the configuration and operation of database server and client components.
·  Providing day to day support and technical expertise on database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems.
·  Providing support to development teams in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications including provision of such development and testing environments that are required.
·  Compliance with internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.
·  Collaborating with the wider engineering and operational teams to resolve issues impacting Database infrastructure (e.g. IT infrastructure such as storage, VMs and networks)
·  Delivering Automation Solution.

Requirements

·  In-depth knowledge of Oracle11g,12c and 19c, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Recovery Manager, and DataGuard with good support experience in a multi-project environment with excellent Oracle Performance and Tuning skills including SQL, PL/SQL and database/instance tuning, Server configuration and tracing facilities, interpretation of tkprof files and event traces
·  Hands-on in-depth experience of hardware clustering and disk technologies such as Veritas Cluster Server and SRDF.
·  Strong experience of planning and implementing production service architectures in a multi-domain, multi-platform and multi-site environment
·  Strong scripting skills – Shell Scripting /Python to perform automation, maintenance tasks and review code
·  Implementing Patching and Upgrade cycles
·  Basic Linux Administration and good working knowledge on DevOps Tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Puppet and monitoring tools like Grafana and ELK
·  Exposure to working in a major enterprise environment operating in highly regulated industry, e.g., Financial Services.
·  Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MSSQL and a NoSQL database e.g. MongoDB
