Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.
Principal Responsibilities
Job description.
The person is responsible for below activities
Recording of entries in financial accounting system
Printing of payment, receipt and journal vouchers from the accounting system and filing them in respective registers. Maintaining the physical copy of books as per the mandate
Review of accounting entries, month end closing, bank reconciliation, Billing.
Verification of day book, month end provisional entries, depreciation calculation, Bank reconciliation statement and checker related controls
Preparation of monthly tax schedules for making a e-TDS deposit
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Skills / Experience Required:
- Ability to analyse, interpret and understand financial data and accounting concepts
- Basic Knowledge of financial services industry
- Hands on experience of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic understanding of the regulatory frameworks (mainly accounting standards and tax laws) and compliance requirements associated with financial services
- Able to communicate well in English and local languages
- A flexible and open approach to work
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should be pursuing chartered accountancy course with The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India and have completed first 2 years of his CA articleship training.
