Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC's position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value and creating a superb customer experience.

We are now looking for a BI Developer to join the team and support the Retail Banking Wealth Management (RBWM) business in achieving the strategic and tactical data and information needs. This role sits within the Analytics and CRM team and is responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of the SAS platform for reporting, analytics, campaigns and triggers.

Some of your main responsibilities in this role are:

· Integration (ETL) and interrogation of complex and disparate data sources
· Delivery of high quality reporting, dashboards and ad hoc data extracts for business stakeholders across frontline sales, digital, business risk and product
· Development of efficient and effective automated data processes
· Ensuring consistent, accurate and fluid delivery of data across the RBWM business

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will bring:


·  At least 3 years commercial experience in building and maintaining SAS datamarts, ETL development for data warehousing and business intelligence systems
·  Demonstrated skills across data warehouse technical design, data modelling, star schema creation, linking data sources and dimensional modelling
·  Advanced SAS Programming skills in BASE SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide
·  Exposure to building complex data warehouses, including experience with designs and patterns associated with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
·  Exposure to dashboard software such as Qlikview/Qliksense and Tableau.
·  Exposure to cloud, python and other tools and platforms
·  Confident and articulate when communicating with business users, analysts, developers, DBAs and other technical staff in a project team environment.
