Assisting Operations team in GST compliance and documentation and filing before due date

·
Preparation of submissions for GST / Service tax assessment of the bank

·
Issue timely guidance to assist Areas/Business in complying with the evolving/changing laws and rules.

·
Make timely appearance and required submissions before various GST / Service tax authorities

·
Preparation of appeal to be filed with appropriate appellate authorities

·
Providing GST tax implication on outsourcing of service/activated to group companies/third party vendors

·
Facilitating annual GST audit and support statutory audit from a tax perspective

·
To prepare and regularly update reporting relating to Uncertain Tax Positions

·
Work with stakeholders in HSBC India and in group companies to ensure consistent GST reporting.

·
Provide inputs from an Indian tax technical perspective on a need basis to overseas group entities for GST

·
Timely and accurate group tax reporting for GST

Principal Responsibilities

GST / Service Tax assessment and litigation

GST advisory to business

GST reporting and compliance

Managing GST / Service Tax audit

Oversight over subsidiary entities for GST / Service tax

Qualifications :

Chartered Accountant

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 2/3 years experience in handling direct tax matters
