We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Sales .

Principal responsibilities

·
Provide support for the Global Sales and Business Development efforts within the Banks and Broker Dealers in HSBC Securities Services, accountable for sales for specific clients including Broker Dealers population as defined and decided by Global Head of Sales and Business Development

Work closely with Product and Strategic Client Management to help deliver individual clients plan and overall business strategies

·
Work with Division, Bank and Group colleagues to ensure that joint internal and external opportunities for cross revenue generation are maximized, deliver planned revenues, for current and new clients, at the required margin for its existing portfolio and live deals

Collaborate on a regular basis with respective coverage team in Global Banking or Commercial Banking franchise for example, deliver client solution and work closely with other product partners including but not limited to Foreign Exchange and Global Liquidity and Cash Management for example

Use input from client and market contacts to contribute to the development of new and enhanced products, establish and maintain supporting product literature, presentational material and an Request For Information or Request For Proposal database

Monitor the achievement of targeted Key Performance Indicator relating to clients and manage the client communication process

·
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and relevant clients coverage including but not limited to Network Management, Banks relations, relevant business areas such as Prime Finance and Equities, Regional and Local Operations team and Product Management team

·
Assess the implications of market and industry change initiatives and articulate implications for HSS and clients

·
Ensure that the most appropriate organizational structures, systems, procedures and controls are utilized in support of the Business Development function, implement changes as necessary to realize efficiency and cost benefits

Qualifications :

Requirements

· 
Bachelor or Master degree required ideally with a Finance focus

· 
Exceptional communication skills including in emails, meetings and phone calls

· 
Good understanding of financial services including technical and financial knowledge of Banks and Broker Dealers industry

· 
Demonstrate good knowledge of the securities market and the associated market infrastructure

· 
Detailed oriented, the candidate will have to demonstrate rigor in its approach to execution in projects he or she will be involved with

· 
Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
