We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist .

 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

Principal responsibilities

· 
This role will have an end-to-end delivery accountability while working closely with the engineering team, product owner and business stakeholders for a visualization solution for Global Insurance.

· 
Understand overall functional and non-functional requirements, IT and business priorities and success measures to adopt appropriate solutions design and systems architecture, including necessary integration points and controls.

· 
Lead the delivery of business use cases, managing delivery planning, interlocks, risks, and execution tracking.  Coordinate with corresponding interface IT teams, and relevant stakeholders to align delivery milestones and priorities.

· 
Ensure all relevant architecture governance, policy and standards are met and overarching system delivery to a comprehensive and future state architecture.

· 
Champion continuous improvement and Delivery Excellence, ensuring consistently high-quality outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

· 
Strong Technical Skills, Growth mindset and Team building capability/Leading from front is essential for the role.

· 
Experience in Technology Project Management or Agile Delivery disciplines.

· 
Experience in working on complex products with multiple work streams in a scaled environment.

· 
Strong skills to motivate others for achieving objectives, and to coach the teams in practicing core agile principles of collaboration, self-organization, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.

· 
Open for honest and constructive debates with fact and integrity.

· 
Possessing critical thinking to identity root causes, looking beyond a problem's surface to offer sustainable solutions.

· 
Ability to articulate or translate complex information in clear, meaningful and structured way to suit audience.

· 
Adaptive – ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals

· 
Experience in GCP Cloud Platforms would be an advantage.

· 
Experience in supporting finance systems would be an advantage.
