We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, KYC and Client Services .

Principal responsibilities

· Provides support to the Private Bank Hong Kong and Singapore booking centres in delivering high quality client service to customer base.
· Responsible for managing the processes associated with client transactions including new account openings, general account maintenance, customer account changes and account closings.
· Responsible for managing the processes associated with tax regulatory initiatives including Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, Common Reporting Standard.
· Maintain the highest standard of excellence in client service by attending to client enquiries and requests.
· Prompt and appropriate action taken to address feedbacks and complaints from the Relationship Managers on account maintenance and servicing issues.
· Manage HSBC Know Your Customer policies and ensure that all client service related activities are fully in compliance with the processes and procedures contained in it.
· Provide subject matter expertise and operational support for Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard
· Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
· Build and maintain positive and productive working relationships internally and externally.
· Ensure that any data input is dealt with in a timely manner and in correct and consistent format.
· Ensure account opening documentations are complete and accurate and requirements met.
· Achieve compliance with Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard for all account holders.
· Achieve compliance with all Group Standards, manuals and guidelines.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
·  Proven and progressive private banking or equivalent experience.
·  Experience in undertaking Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer reviews within the banking and financial institution.
·  Experience in current Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard
·  A good team player with drive for success and achievement
·  Strong problem solving and time management skills
·  Strong Information Technology skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Application.
·  Articulate and strong communicator with excellent written English, proficiency in Chinese is a must.
